In partnership with The Poetry Lab, Amanda will be bringing her, The Poet Speaks Workshop, to all!
The goal of The Poet Speaks Workshop is to learn about Nigerian and Igbo oral traditions of rhyme and verse and correlate its history to the contemporary spoken word culture.
This workshop is appropriate for writers at all levels. It includes four weeks of live Thursday evening lecture, discussion, and guided writing time on October 27, November 3, 10, 17.
The final night of class, participants will be invited to share their work and celebrate each other!
