BIDLA has won the distinct honor of being played through the JOHN F KENNEDY Center's Real 2 Reel Film Festival in July 2021. The film has now been archived at the Kennedy Center.

Bidla is Amanda Eke's directorial debut.
Bidla explores the international music fusion of Ghana (traditional Maltese Folk Music) and Hip-Hop on the Mediterranean Island of Malta through the lens of Hip-Hop artists and cultural anthropologists in present day.
Bidla has won the distinct honor of being played at the JOHN F KENNEDY Center's Real 2 Reel Film Festival in July 2021. A portion of the film has now been archived at the Kennedy Center.
